FAQs

  • Our specialist team are trained in providing support for Anxiety disorders (such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder and more) and Depression, as well as specialist support for individuals who are ADHD and Autistic.

We also provide specialist neuro-developmental disorder assessments and cognitive assessments.

  • As a first step, I will carry out a thorough evaluation with you and/or your child. Each appointment will last approximately 50 minutes and will allow me time with both the child as well as the parents. The parent session gives you space to share your concerns freely as well as allow me to gather a full developmental history which helps me to ensure that I am recommending the most appropriate intervention.

Screening questionnaires and liaising with other professionals and school will be provided if you wish. The assessment structure will be dependant on the child’s age.

    For under 5’s:

    • 1st part will be parents only, 2nd part parent(s) and child

    For 5-17’s:

    • 1st part parent(s) and child, 2nd part parent(s) only

Once we have identified a condition(s), I will develop a tailor-made treatment plan jointly with you and/or your child based on their needs. The treatment will include an integrated approach to achieve optimal wellbeing. These may include person-centred talking therapies, mindfulness-based therapy, learning techniques and/or behavioural learning planning with school, and information and support to better understand and cope (psychoeducation).

The total for both assessment appointments is £450.

I also accept insurance and I am recognised by most major insurance companies (Aviva, Allianz Healthcare, Bupa international, Bupa, Cigna, WPA, AXA). Please note, a top-up fee may be applied. This is due to the insurance companie’s limitations and exclusions.

If you are affiliated with a different insurance provider, please contact me for further discussion.
